About Me
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working as a creative in the design and advertising industry. This gives me a lived experience of the pressures of corporate and creative life and how they can shape a person’s sense of self.
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, LGBTQI+ affirmative, and psychoanalytically informed. This means I encourage the development of self-awareness to gain insight into the unconscious dynamics and patterns that may be limiting or causing you distress. Through connected conversation and collaboration, we will explore your thoughts and feelings, helping to bring meaning and clarity to your experiences.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, questions around gender or sexuality, trauma, workplace stress, bereavement, or a general sense of unease, I offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we will explore the underlying factors contributing to your emotional challenges and work toward resolving them.
Through this process, you will begin to understand what shapes your present thoughts and behaviours. Making these associations and links can help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, gain clarity, and find healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges with greater awareness, insight, and integration.
